Dr. Todd Bowdre
Medical Director and Practice Owner
Over the last 20 years, Dr. Bowdre’s veterinary career has been focused on emergency and critical care medicine as a dedicated, full-time ER doctor working mostly nights, weekends and holidays. Due to the crazy, but flexible schedule of emergency medicine, he has also been able to spend a significant amount of time working in shelter medicine and spay neuter clinics. He has developed special interests in wellness care, dentistry, and general practice as well as practice ownership. He truly looks forward to this next chapter of his career serving San Marcos and the surrounding community’s families and their pets. He said “From my family to yours; we look forward to seeing you soon!”

Dr. Jaime Chou

With over two decades of experience in veterinary medicine, Dr. Jaime Chou brings a lifelong passion for animal care to her work. A Minnesota native, Dr. Chou knew from an early age that she wanted to become a veterinarian. Dr. Chou earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota. After graduating in 2009, she practiced at a small animal hospital in Minnesota, before relocating to San Diego in 2012. Here she has continued her work exclusively with small animals.
Passionate about all aspects of general practice, Dr. Chou has a particular interest in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and dermatology. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Chou enjoys playing tennis in a women’s league. She and her husband stay busy with their three young children, their energetic orange tabby cat, Kiki Beans, and an adorable dwarf hamster named Hammy.
